We have 3 different models of stove: The Salamander Stove, The Salamander SE Stove and our Little Range Cookstove. The Salamander and Salamander SE have exactly the same dimensions whereas our Little Range Cookstove has a built in oven on the left hand side. Little Range Cookstove

Please ensure that your stove is completely cold before attempting to clean any part of it. The glass can be cleaned using an approved stove glass cleaner or a more natural method is to use a damp cloth dipped into the remaining ashes as this acts as a slight abrasive helping to remove burnt on dirt. We have a helpful video on how to clean your stove here.

The baffle and internal bricks can also be removed for cleaning and we would recommend servicing your stove at least once a year to ensure all internal parts are in good working order

The sealing rope in the door will become worn after it has been in use for a long period of time and it can then come loose. You can watch our video here on how to replace these rope seals.

Cracks in the glass can occur if logs fall onto the glass as they are burning. Replacing the glass is nice and easy, but if you are unsure, please do contact us. We also have an instructional video that you can watch here.

These parts can be purchased directly through us. Please contact us with your address and a list of required parts and we will get this price arranged for you.

Unpacking your order

Before you can start using your new wood burning stove, you will need to unpack it from it’s wooden box. You can watch the video on how to do this below:

The unpacking sequence is crucial in order to make sure that you set the stove up correctly. A lot of care and attention has been made to ensure you have many great years of service from you stove and this starts with the packaging. It is important that more than 1 person does this as our stoves are heavy so care should be taken to avoid injury.
